Rumour Mill PR were appointed by the Revolution Bars Group to manage the PR and Marketing activity to support their first business venture in Northern Ireland. The company have a trading portfolio of over 50 successful bars across the U.K, this necessitated Rumour Mill PR to build on the previous successes of the company as they launched Revolucion de Cuba Belfast.
What We Did
We embarked on this campaign by researching the brand ethos of Revolucion de Cuba, ensuring we fully immersed ourselves in its approach. Our strategy incorporated local and national online, broadcast and print elements, as well as an innovative programme of digital and social media activity, video content and intensive media relations, supported by engaging content.
We built hype around the opening and our plan to drip-feed content into the press and via online channels, in the lead up to the opening really paid off.
Belfast Revolucion de Cuba achieved the highest sales levels of all venues opened in the last two years and averaged £80,000 per week over the first nine full weeks of trading
