We were challenged with instilling excitement and interest around the Evian and Wimbledon partnership in a creative manner. The brand were keen to have a show stopping installation which would attract members of the public to interact and engage with the brand.
At Rumour Mill we love thinking outside the box. Wimbledon may take place in England but how do we bring the tournament to Belfast? We selected Victoria Square, Northern Ireland’s prime retail destination as the location for our experiential activity. After months of research and planning we executed a fantastic virtual tennis tournament in the heart of Belfast.
Shoppers were invited to partake in virtual tennis games utilising the Playstation Move system which was embedded into the branded tennis court. Wimbledon played on screens as users waited their turn to compete in this tennis tournament in a bid to win some fantastic prizes. The Evian branding was present throughout the set up and we leveraged some promotional staff to encourage members of the public to visit the attraction.
On the day we were able to capture audience data in exchange for competition entries. This data was then utilised to allow the brand to communicate brand stories and partnerships in the future.
