The Brief

Extra Care, one of NI’s largest domiciliary care providers was established in 1935 to ensure people could live in the comfort of their own home with dignity and respect. It required RMCC to devise and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that would bring to life to the work of their staff, their clients’ experiences and engage with stakeholders.

Our Approach

RMCC adopted a mixed methods approach to communicate messaging through media relations, profiling, case studies and on overarching digital plan that would utilise social media channels and re-generate its website. We established their varying target markets are set out clear objectives at the launch of the campaign.

The Outcomes

We began working with Extra Care in 2018 and they continue to be one of our clients today, due to our positive working relationship created and ability to deliver the contract.  RMCC created a wealth of digital content including numerous videos, banks of imagery, and generated new website content. Filming with real clients and staff in their natural settings created a real human element to the charity and showcased the hard work of its staff as well as the successful client case studies. We have overhauled their social media channels, bringing them to life as well as sharing the good news and positive stories amongst local and national press. RMCC has successfully supported the charity to event manage and we have co-hosted various events including their annual awards ceremonies and most recently their prestigious strategy launch event in Stormont 2019.
